Coffee Morning in aid of Afghan Heroes

Leamington Spa Baptist Church, Chandos Street, Leamington Spa, is having a Coffee Morning in aid of Afghan Heroes on 3 October from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Line Dance Expats in Spain Release CD for Afghan Heroes

A group of line dancers and Country and Western enthusiasts on the Costa Blanca near Alicante were so moved by the newly formed charity Afghan Heroes that they have gotten together to release a single CD to raise money for the charity.

Punch Tavern Fundraiser

The Punch Tavern in Central London (famous for their home made British food) is supporting British Troops during British Food Fortnight 2009. The Punch Tavern is encouraging customers to be proud of their regional food and to recognise the efforts of our troops in Afghanistan and their families. 

Afghan Heroes official launch

On Tuesday morning, seven of the eight mothers of the soldiers killed between the 9th & 10th July 2009 – were in Bristol to attend a press conference to officially launch the Afghan Heroes charity and outline the charity’s aims.

A royal visit to 2 RIFLES

Prince Edward has visited the 2 RIFLES Battle Group in Sangin, as they strive to bring security to the Afghan town.
