I served fro a short while in the Royal marines, then went on to serve 32 years in the metropolitan police 16 years as a class 1 advanced driver and class 1 advanced morotcyclist.. peters opinion is without foundation.. if you have passed your test and ride a bike , whatever make, model, cc then in my professional opinion .. You are a biker.. ride safe guys will see you there on mothering sunday on my Hog..registration A H06 GUY.. lol.. god bless our troops and keep them safe

I was totally shocked to read your bitter comment. I am a wife of a serving soldier, we are both attending the bike rally through WB to pay our respects to our fallen heros and raise money for a very very worthwhile cause and also to remember our very good friend who lost his life serving in Afghan last year with my husband. Shame on you.

my good friend rusty and myself will be prowd to ride from weymouth dorset and crewkerne somerset to give the respect to the wonderfull troups that is doing so much for there country and the ones that are not with us anymore my bike is off the road now but will be working hard to get back for the 3rd of april

I rode in the 2010 afghan heroes and felt a sence of pride for doing so nothing will stop me being in the 2011 ride it is our way of showing those brave boys and girls that we are thinking of them god bless them all.

What a fantastic day.
I don’t get emotional about much unless it affects my son or my mother but this day really hit the mark like a hammer blow, so glad i was involved
Well done to absolutely everybody involved (be proud of what you achieved).
Does anyboy know how i can get hold of a couple of event stickers for my bike & car as i didn’t spot any on sunday cos i want people to know I WAS THERE.
It goes without saying if this was to happen again i would love to attend, but that would mean that our forces are getting hurt & repats are still happening, so for the safety of all our armed forces lets hope that we will never need to have another event like this again.
Lets hope there are no more coffins to come back.

Yup!!! It sure is crazy…..lol…..Just exactly right for its owner…..and yup…..I AM that CrAzY!!!

I forgot to add in the previous thanks…..the AA, the Medics, the Cops, the Marshalls…from where I was sitting on top of “Colossus” I reckon it went so smoothly…..

Tim, thanks for yours and the teams help with the panic over getting a printer to work…lol…and you aint going to believe this but…..I managed to get it printed…..THEN FORGOT TO PICK IT UP WHEN I LEFT HOME!!!!! But thanks to all of you at the airfield for still letting me in…..lol…..
