***Wristbands Update***

We have recently been contacted several times from people concerned that they have not yet received their wristbands. We would like to assure people that they will receive their wristbands as soon as possible. This is due to an instance of demand far exceeding supplies.

However we can clarify that all orders made before (and including) February 10th have been fulfilled – and we are waiting on the next batch which we have been promised will be ready for sending out during the week commencing March 15th.

Once again we thank you for your support and patience.

If you have not received your email containing the link to the confirmation page or are having other issues, then please go here:

      http://afghanheroes.org.uk/bikersevent.asp

and use the email/bike reg combination instead. This will only work if you use the same email address and reg that you originally signed up with.

    Hi Tim,
Not sure what the problem is, but when I come to print off my PASS I’m not getting all the info that I need.
The actual registration of both bikes are NOT priniting. I seem to be just getting as follows:

    11:00 – 12:00
    Registration N0: 660
    Rider Name: David Cham

I have tried to print using LANDSCAPE this time I’m getting full names, but, stillNO Bike Registration. I’ve seen someone elses pass and they’ve got bike reg as well as the Reg Ref N0:

I assume that The whole of the registration is needed to enable us to enter the base?
Look forward to your reply in the near future
    Pauline.

    P.S
I’ve emailed this address + rest of info (http://afghanheroes.dev/bikersevent.asp?) to my work address and see if I have better luck off that printer

With regard to the problem of supplying paid for wrist bands (see comment made previously) perhaps pressure should be applied to your supplier as the event that we all want to wear them at occurs on the 14th March and not during the week of the 15th as you have stated??????

Why would you want to wear the wristbands on the 14th? You will get an official ride wristband on the 14th which you will need to wear to confirm that you are registered / paid. You won’t need to wear both on the day

I have my pass and registration and like many I am looking forward to the ride as a group of supporters and motorcyclists. We must remember our purpose. I have Constant thoughts as to the purpose of my being there. Amongst them are a mixture of pride, happiness, sadness and an empty feeling of loss for those who have recieved the awful news of a son, brother, husband or father been lost or severly injured. My father was in the gliders on D-Day. He came back. We are the lucky ones that are privliged to be able to say “thank you”

Wow! what support, unblievable, my son Olli and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all concerned
in the organisation of this event and that the money will help as many as possible.
As the above blog says, my dad was with Monty in Africa against Rommel he survived
we must support our forces 100% otherwise all that is lost will be in vain.
