Together we can make a difference
On Monday April 4th 2011 a charity Motorbike ride out will set off from the Prince of Wales in Wootton Bassett to embark on a 6 day 1500 mile ride. The ride is to raise money and awareness of the two chosen charities, Afghan Heroes and the Prospect Hospice.
Both rely on the support of the public to make a difference.
A short brief intro how the ride came about
It was at a bike meeting that the two organisers met up and started to chat about their own bikes, although both riders had only passed their test in 2009, they both wanted to do a tour of the Southern coast in the UK.
After a short while they decided to make their ride into a charity ride out, and decided to start working on the route, due to the fact that this would require some organisation it was decided that the ride would take place in 2011, a Facebook page has also been set up – please click the link to view.
