Afghan Heroes would like to say a massive Thank You to every one who gave up their time at the weekend to help in packing this year’s Home Comfort Boxes for the troops in Afghanistan.

My partner and I have been sending parcels to troops for 8 years now off and on with op telic and op herrick , mainly to friends and other contacts we have made, at the moment we have nobody serving in operations so have run out of people to send parcels to. We would very much like to volunteer for one or more of your “packing days” please can you inform us of youe next planned volunteers day and how to registar thank you and a VERY BIG WELL DONE to you all for your invaluble work.
I live in central Bournemouth and Im looking to help out with Afghan Heroes……is there anyone in the area that needs help with packing and distributing parcels etc? Or help with fund raising? or just plain help….with anything!
Im also very interested in the support groups for the soldiers etc and their families, ( mentioned on the Afghan Heroes website)….Id just like to get involved with the charity, in some capacity.
