Big up the organising team and all others who volunteered their time, I thought it was a very well organised respectfull thanks to the good people of Wootton Bassett the Boys and Girls at RAF Lyneham.

To have made such a wonderful amount for charity for a one day’s ride shows the generosity and good nature of Bikers.

A day of fun, Sadness,Humility and Respect so many mixed immotions all rolled into one it is beyond my words to describe. Support our Forces Army, Navy, RAF and all the backroom Boys and Girls for what they give for us.Barnsey

What a great sight it was to see that Police expenses were zilch, I would like to commend all the Police men and women that turned out on the day to organise and marshal us all …
    Well Done

Agreed, fantastic how so many gave and asked nothing in return (like our boys do), just a shame it wasn’t everyone.

I thought this year was another fantastic ride to show our respect to our troops that paid the ultimate price, and also to give the people of Wootton Bassett our thanks for what they do all year, and to put a smile on there faces and give them a happy day. Yours Faithfully, Malcolm Orr,Colchester,Essex

There are organisations here that have taken no expenses that would have certainly deserved to, while there are others that have taken and do not deserve when all they needed was a clap.

Well done to everybody a great sum of money, however a little disappointed in the current crap on facebook from the ror team, I am not suprised AH dont want to be associated with you if you look at last years figures I would like to know were the food money is and the merchandise money and why when last year there was no expenses are julia and anne taking over 5000 grand from the pot.

It would seem that instead of investing there own money to set up the ror they have stolen the bikers

It was a great honour to be part of both rides, I am humbled by those who did things for free (like the police) and ashamed at the likes of the AA (multi million pound company) and the others that did not do this for free, even with all the publicity they have and will receive) well my AA membership has now been cancelled and I ask everyone else does the same

The amount of time and money put in by all the organisers and participants will have been in multiples of the amount raised. The goodwill of 10k bikers cannot be measured in financial terms, although, all the recipients of the funds raised will be extremely grateful. It is sad that this will be the last Wootton Bassett Ride-of-Respect ride, but being part of the two runs, the memories will last a lifetime.

Thank you to all those that gave their time and resources to make this event happen.
