Hello everyone. We at Afghan Heroes just wanted to keep everyone informed of what is going on with the 2011 Wootton Bassett mothers day ride.
The organisers had a planning meeting this week and have told us that this has raised a few issues that need to be resolved before we can open the registration page. They have arranged another meeting for October and hopefully we can open the registrations soon after this meeting.
Just to reiterate, registration will now open in october.
Afghan Heroes would like to thank the organisers for all their hard work an would ask everyone to please bear with us until all the details have been worked out. Please, please, please do not contact the office with questions about the ride – we will keep you all informed as we and when we can.

On Monday April 4th 2011 a charity Motorbike ride out will set off from the Prince of Wales in Wootton Bassett to embark on a 6 day 1500 mile ride. The ride is to raise money and awareness of the two chosen charities, Afghan Heroes and the Prospect Hospice. Read More
Exercise Rolling Road is a John O’Groats to Lands End cycle ride, which will be conducted by members of the Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS), over the period from 19th September – 3rd October 2010. Read More

UK metal band Dementia have just released the video for their single ‘Glory To The Boys’ on Youtube. With lyrics written by Dave Allen, whose son James Allen became a Commando in the Royal Marines and is to be deployed to Afghanistan, the purpose of the song is to raise funds to help our armed forces. All proceeds from the special edition single will go to Afghan Heroes. Read More
